Overview

Components are reusable elements and the building blocks of the IxDF UI Kit. They work together harmoniously to create effective UI solutions to address user needs and problems.

Adding New Components

For the IxDF UI Kit to be effective, it needs a library of components that is extensive enough to solve every need but not any larger than it needs to be.

Before you create a new component, check if there’s an existing component that can be adapted to solve the user problem. Remember that every component is a design and code element that you’ll need to maintain and upgrade over time.

There is never any justification for things being complex when they could be simple.
